“poΙDcast BUDDIES- Strengthen inclusion of people with Intellectual disability through pairing podcasting with volunteers on environmental issues” is a project aimed at fostering inclusion and empowerment for people with intellectual disabilities (pwID) through an innovative approach to podcasting on environmental issues. By pairing volunteers with people with Intellectual disability, the project seeks to increase accessibility and inclusiveness in adult education while promoting environmental awareness and advocacy for climate change action. Through a series of podcast episodes, participants will develop green skills and strategies, becoming agents of change in their communities. The project also aims to promote local learning centers and innovative learning spaces, utilizing digital technologies like podcasts to provide lifelong learning opportunities. With a focus on digital transformation and capacity building, “Poidcast Buddies” will equip participants with the skills needed to create and produce podcasts while improving the competences of educators and adult education staff. Through its holistic approach, the project contributes to the horizontal priority of inclusion and diversity in education, fostering a more inclusive and sustainable society for all.
